Just for fun, anybody's. A friend of Monica's. She doesn't appear to have been very reluctant to talk about her problems to practically everyone she knew. Strikes me as the sort of dumb thing she might well do: go to a buddy who knew a little about the law, explain that she and Tripp needed a game plan...
