Yes he has recourse although he doesn't think its fair to sue the company and the bimbo has no assets. Why doesn't he think it's fair to sue the company? They did, after all, support the bimbo's allegations. Surely there must have been many people who were aware of her incompetence on the job. And obviously there was no one who'd ever seen him try anything on with her. He ought at the very least get a letter from them apologizing for wrongful dismissal. Another interesting case. This one involves a museum curator in the States. For several years his wife was working on a project that kept her in London most of the time. He eventually commenced an affair with his bimbo personal assistant. She appeared to have had hope of becoming his next wife. First wife returns, affair ends. From this point on, the p.a. refuses to do her job, and refuses to accept a transfer to an equivalent position. The guy is censured by his employers, who support the woman and evidently don't care whether she earns her salary or not. He's suing for five million.
