With regression line swing I use the 89 dMA of the highs. It helps to remove whipsaws and likely would have got you into IMAT on that dip just before the crossover if you're buying in anticipation of the crossover.

PS, I haven't actually checked it myself, it just seems like that difference would have helped. Pardon the intrusion if you used the 89 DMA of the highs already.
