Yes they did support her allegations which were backed up by another member of management. The company folded on (good) advice of counsel to avoid state and federal consequences. My point is this is the sort of thing that happens when we have laws which "criminalize" being a jerk. He feels that had he been in their shoes he probably would have done the same thing. By the way he did eventually get the reference you suggested. He just doesn't care to work in the field anymore. He works by himself (as a consultant to the industry) and unless he acquires multiple personality disorder, he feels he shouldn't have to worry about these types of charges again. I'm not so sure unless he has no contact with any other living human for the rest of his life. JLA
