I'm not a believer in "vast crowds" of potential addicts. But exactly how many do you think there needs to be before legalization's cost is too high. My threshold is very low. I may be the last such person on earth if you are right but fear of the law has always kept me from trying drugs. I'm in my fourth decade and I have never even TRIED marijuana, LSD, hash, cocaine or any of the other drugs which were popular when I was (a little) younger. I've never smoked tobacco either. I have been known to have a beer from time to time. Point is for people like me (maybe not many) the illegal, illicit nature of those drugs keeps me away. JLA
