Christine, billions of dollars we spend on absolutely ineffective interdiction of drugs, Sadly, I have come to agree completely with you. My heart wants drugs to be illegal; my brain knows it isn't working. We will never have laws cruel enough to really stop drug use, so let's give up. David is also right in that we must execute the users as well as the sellers to really control the drug traffic: Message 4150066 We should legalize and control the stuff. Eliminate the huge profits and the coincident corruption. Also get rid of the unconstitutional forfeiture laws and the thousands of people in jail for drug offenses. Time for a reality check. Jack
