Janice, I am curious as to whether Italy's public health department, or whoever would do things like that, is attempting some campaign yet to reduce smoking, or at least curtail it in public buildings and such.

While smoking certainly seems to still be occurring in Ireland, their laws are quite stringent against it, and I think it will gradually fade away there.

Of course, now that I recall the toddlers have ashtrays on their trikes, it seems like a silly question. I guess they will be putting little plastic pockets in disposable diapers, just big enough for a pack and some matches (since most lighters are child-proof these days).
