Aren't actions louder than words most times? Yes. The Reagan kids desperately wanted not to be sent to boarding school, but never mind, it was so much easier for Ron and Nancy. Seriously, read the books. They were awful parents. As previously noted, I don't think this stuff has much to do with one's ability to do a job, so I wouldn't have voted against him for it. But those of you who believe the "character issue" is of paramount importance may feel differently.
