I should have put it more precisely; I generally do not touch anything but Suns. Used to be DEC Vax machines too. If you are running IBM's version of Unix, all bets are off :-)

Regarding ''synching" versus ''syncing", I realize that a lot of people who wrote the code couldn't spell all that well so I always try to correct it :-)
