I guess the Clintonista distorters have made you believe something that isn't true, i.e, that Starr "threw" that convicted felon in jail. I find it shocking that "the Media" have abetted that incorrect take throughout.

Wrong on two counts:

One: the party in contempt has put themselves in that position and they "hold the key" for their own release. Susan's refusal to tell the truth put her in that position, not Starr. She could have ended her stay at any time by merely telling the truth.

Two: the Judge is one the with the power and authority to throw someone in jail for contempt, not the prosecutor.

Therefore, Monica will go to jail if she acts like McDougal. And despite the howls from uninformed "Media" types and assorted crazed Clintonistas, it will have been Monica herself that put her there, not Starr.
