Len, I understand your reluctance to go through 500 posts to gather chuckles. Here is a quick synopsis: a couple of people found out about some facts that had been omitted from the "due diligence" on a certain stock. The stock had a major supporter on the thread, and some others that helped carry the torch. Words were exchanged, and still are being exchanged. Some of the naysayers had been involved in an April Fools joke with a phony company called FBN, and after some quick investigation, the "pros" concluded that these people had conspired to short their favorite stock and bash it to make money and make their own company appear better. The problem is that the "pros" failed to see that the FBN thread was a joke, (even after seeing the web site and the thread, which ran the phony stock up from 16 to 90 in one day) there is no conspiracy or short selling, and they all looked really, really stupid.
