Plenty of great spots to MTB around Australia. The OTTWAY RANGES of Victoria are totally incredible rainforests rides through the mountains and coastal strips where you can get 4 seasons in just one day and test your skills on the fat tyres. Just went to the coast last weekend and rode some light rides on the GREAT OCEAN ROAD which is the home of BELLS BEACH and plenty of nice scenic rides and also a mix of major climbs into firebreaks and ranges if your into climbs and of course plenty of subsequent downhilling to get the blood rushing. I am more of a XC rider and make it a point of riding almost every day around my home in the country of the Warrandyte area in Victoria, Australia; which is the riding grounds of Cadel Evans, so this should tell you its a pretty awesome place to MTB. ............. Hope to come to the US to compete this year at Lake Tahoe and Sonoma (missed out last year) and take up on some competition if time allows later this year in your summer. Jay
