Mountain Biking Anyone???? ;-))

The newsgroups devoted to mountain biking(alt.mtnbikes etc) seem overwhelmed with:

*Ads for porn
*Messages from those against mtn. biking but promoting their ovwn agenda
*Get-Rich-Quick schemes

I thought since I spend so much time here on SI, why bother with the newsgroups at all? Anything and everything is open, from bikes and accessories, to places to ride and great trails you've ridden. I have a trip coming up in April to Nepal w/ mtn. biking as part of the outdoor adventure. Even though Nepal is not renowned for its mtn. biking trails, more and more people are making their way over there. Since this will be my 1st international adventure vacation, would appreciate any advice on traveling to a 3rd world country.

See you on the trail ;-))
