GTIS:
207.95.154.130

The chart's indicators seem to be downturning. The company looks fabulous, since the story I posted on my list they have announced a promotion as well as a new product:

datek.newsalert.com

The previous story was about a release of a soccer game for pc. Soccer is the worlds most popular sport. GTIS looks like it has it's boots on folks:

A PE of 17 vs the industry avg of 98

Revenues up 69% from last year.

Today, so far, GTIS is at the top of my software/tech watch list.

Beta is .99.

Aquisition of an excellent software company and coverage by some big hitters:

GT announced its plans to acquire MicroProse (formerly Spectrum HoloByte) in a deal valued at $250 million.

MERRILL LYNCH CAPITAL MARKETS

GT Interactive Software Corp. has managed to capture the number two market share position (behind Sierra On-Line) in PC consumer software in 1995, just two years after it was founded. The company is
currently experiencing strong business momentum, which is fueling high revenue and earnings growt for 1996 and 1997. In addition, the company is leveraging its status in the PC market to enter the next
generation dedicated platform market in 196. Unlike most other dedicated software publishers (Electronic Arts, Acclaim), the company does not hold any of the older 16-bit inventory (which is now
virtually obsolete except for the "mega-hit" titles)."

The only thing missing here is an EPS turnaround, my feeling is that last years Microprose, who makes EXCELLENT games, aquisition caused the decline in earnings, earnings were + the previous 2 years, volume was also booming during it's last run.

My feeling is that GTIS is a winner, I'm going to take an initial position today.
