I think you hit the nail on the head with the comment regarding his conspiracy theory but let's not forget those comments don't reflect his own belief, they're an attempt to raise doubts about any and all sources of critical information in the minds of casual investors.

Cable modems have really started to take off but despite the virtual certainty of that last fall, the Pump was telling his dwindling audience that they would only make it in a few scattered areas. The reason I bring that up is that he's now pulling the same stunt with VOIP technology. That technology is also poised for ubiquity as the large telecommunications concerns work out the kinks of earlier systems.

I suppose the individual putting 6,500 phones in 219 buildings [see link] wasn't aware he could throw more good money at his dinosaur PBX system with Data Race's proprietary tangle of washed-up modem technology? Hardly likely. Nothing reflects as badly on the Pump's credibility as much as this constant bashing of technology which is currently annihilating the cheezy little modem experiment being offered by RACE -- no takers.

In the face of no material sales after years of effort, it seems implausible that they will ever succeed with this dinosaur-ware. Rather, we are seeing modern, integrated digital services for voice and data based on enhanced Internet protocols rapidly moving to the forefront. Be There! is a bridge to the past which offers no compelling value over standards-based technology.
