This is MSFT's CFO responding to one of the Motley Fools.

TMF Bogey: "With the recent consolidation in the network security/virus protection sector coupled w/ the recent weakness, does Microsoft see this as an opportunity to strongly compete in this industry?"

GMaffei MS: This is an important and growing market, but we are unlikely to enter with a standalone product. Just not for us.
