CAND

I have 12% of my portfolio in CAND, I must admit that I've been tearing my hair out a bit over it. Your post has prompted me to seek out either confidence to avg down or a definative reason to sell and take a loss. This is what I've found:

................Company....industry.......S&P 500
Gross Margin......34.1.......39.2..........46.4
Pre-Tax Margin.... 4.7....... 7.3..........9.8
Net Profit Margin. 4.8 .......4.3 ........ 6.5
Income/Employee .$74,000 ...$10,000 .....$17,000
Revenue/Employee$1,525,000 $225,000..... $258,000
Receivable Turnover 56.4 .....6.3 .........6.9
Inventory Turnover ..8.6 .....3.3 .........7.4
Asset Turnover ......5.2 .....1.7 .........0.5

RT (Relative Timing): CAND has an RT rating of 0.90. On a scale of 0.00 to 2.00, an RT of 0.90 is fair.

Recommendation (REC): CAND has a Hold recommendation.

GPE (Growth to P/E Ratio): CAND has a GPE of 1.15. This ratio suggests that CAND is undervalued.

There is alot of mixed feeling here, on one level vector vest has the timing rating much higher when we were acumulating, an awful sign, but VV also says the company is undervalued. The company seems to produce lower profits than the market and S&P, but earns much more per employee, a sign of efficecy on one side but somehow the efficency disappears when the dollars get counted at years end. My feeling here is that the market sees the see-saw with CAND and is to precarious right now want to support it's insecurities, personally I'm leaning towards cutting my losses. The announcement tomorrow about unemployment will make the decision for me.

Take care:
