I went German for precisely the same reasons. Although you may point out every known flaw in the GP, this will have no effect on Marshall since he's already made his decision. The car could be falling apart at the welds, but he will recommend them to anybody who will listen. He will tell them how wonderful next year's model is going to be and not to worry about the current set of systemic problems. He will be shocked when they stop production due to a lack of sales. Should the model only run on a special formula of bio-fossil fuel from a select chain of GM sanctioned distributors, that would be OK with him since the unit also has a built in toaster.
