Regarding recent layoff's at I-Bus Division, here is a post I agree with from the Yahoo-Maxwell thread:

3:33PM EDTThe loss of the Lucent contract only comes out in a
reporters story on layoffs at I-Bus. WRONG!!!!! Anybody who at all follows Mxwl
knows that there was no business going forward with Lucent after the current job. The co. talked about this
on the road show for their secondary, on the conference call for 1st qtr. earnings, at the annual meeting on Jan.28.
You clearly don't have a clue about this co.
The layoffs came on the heals of the aquisition they just made to reduce redundant positions. Is this the first
time you ever saw restructuring after an aquisition? How about the fact that the employee head count has jumped from 525 6 months
ago to over 800 now. Thats the sign of a growing co. not one in decline.
As of now there is no problem with DEC. When DEC was bought by Compaq it was determined there might be a competing product
at Compaq which raised some questions but there is a definitive contract in place and the co. is prepared to
to ship against it. Notwithstanding that, even without the DEC contract I-Bus is still going to show excellent growth in the current qtr. as well as year as well as next year.
As to the information put out by the co. and Tracey Perry in particular:
I have found both to be very upfront and forthcoming as to the goings on in the co. As I've taken the time to stay close to this investment I will say that there have been no big surprises or inconsistencies
between what the investor relations dept. has put out and what is later reported. The co. is very responsive to their shareholders. Why don't you take the time to call them and see for yourself.
