Don't know about your area but there's a ton of mid-upper line used Mercedes here. Half of this town bought those huge 4WD vehicles despite the fact that all they do is drive them to work and we rarely get any snow of consequence here. Add the move of many others to those fancy Toyotas they call "Lexus" and the dealers are almost willing to give away a good used Mercedes rather than sit on it or wholesale it out at auction. Sure might be worth a cheap airline ticket to pick something up at an extreme bargain. Matter of fact a friend from Utah was down here not long ago, noticed that even the few-year-old true 4WD vehicles were going for almost 1/2 what they're demanding for them up there where they can really be used. See if you can get into the classifieds here, especially the Saturday & Sunday issues: oklahoman.com (It's a tricky website, look closely)
