Pharmacyclics darted ahead 2 3/4 to 33 3/4 on 1.7 million shares. Average volume is 94,000. Pacific Growth Equities analyst Thomas Dietz said the company plans to present Phase II data May 19 on its Gd-Tex drug, which enhances radiation only in tumors. Volume jumped after a CNBC report.
