you latched on to my only serious point. msft squeezed chkpf at a time they were negotiating. msft does not want to see the firewall software moved to the router as csco plans. for the short term, any concessions, and msft wanted something, we will not know. the biggest positive of the announcement was that ballmer was quoted, and that chkpf and msft have another 2 year agreement. good luck.
