Somewhere in the past two days in my babbles here and there I mentioned the possiblity of Lucent or some such wanting VTPI or something else I was discussing. I mentioned Lucent as Lucent bought OCTL, and will be looking at anything that can make it #1 in the world. Now it seems that somewhere on the net people I don't particularly follow or want to mentioned a tie in with Lucent and VTPI subcontract. Can this be verified? Or have you already told this to everyone, if so would you mind repeating it to me. Meant to call the l-888 # today but was too busy. Any Lucent connection, unless Lucent blackballs them with bad press about how inept they are, as in screwing up R&D, etc., will be beyond interesting. Also very $$$$$$. So, of course, I would like to know before May 15th if there is indeed any mes sage to be set forth by the company of even the vaguest association with Lucent. (I dumped my OCTL when they merged with Lucent. This horror will never leave me, and ranks among the top 10,000 worst mistakes I have made so far in my life.)
