<< One of my friends is an aerospace engineer for the navy A6 attack division in Norfolk, Va, and he explained that the coffin corner is the situation in which at high altitudes a plane will stall if its speed falls below a certain point but that it will experience transonic turbulance if it exceeds a certain speed (near mach 1). >>

I have confirmed with a friend of mine, a Flight Test Engineer, about the characteristics of a "coffin corner" and it's affects on an aircraft. I invited him to review the specifications of the PLFM aircraft and he whole-heartedly believes there won't be a problem with performance at an altitude of 60,000 feet.

Seems he is very interested in investing in PLFM now. Looks like the people who clearly understand the engineering concepts of this package believe in it's capabilities. Doesn't that instill confidence??

Ride the wave, face the storm head-on ... we've a winner here.

Rory.
