>Your concerns about the first tier's "stealing" the Simula research is unreasonable in my view. The ITS is heavily patented, and no one can use it without Simula at least getting a reasonable royalty...>>>

Was the Idea of a Windows style operating system stolen from Apple? How about using the mouse? Absolutely not! But Microsoft saw the potential and developed an operating system very similar. Did it care about the patents? That was my inference, that someone will use the inflators which are not part of SMU and develop something similar. It could take many years in the World courts for SMU to get justice as was shown in its latest cry of foul play. SMU could never stand toe-to-toe against a likes of TRW. Somehow the market is always right and it is saying no deals towards SMU. Why give SMU the market when with with time it can belong to a company with better marketing strategies.

As for SMU going again on a road show to attract institutional buyers, I for one would rather see it instead concentrate on the internal problems of bringing $$'s to the bottom line. What is the road show going to do for stockholders? Hype is not what SMU needs at this time but results. The story is out and has been for some time. Let Debbie F. do the marketing to institutions. Why, is it time to issue more stock? I think management should look internally for the problems and not blame WallStreet for the weak price. Bring in earnings and Buyers will flock to the Company. The reality is that SMU is still pricey if you take real earnings into consideration. Spend the money on better management software which could help detect why margins on the seats are not over 30%. Spending money on D&P shows is not where its at. SMU should wake up to the dangers of the Free market.

Just one fishermans opinion.

Noblesse, always good to hear your feedback.
