I have no special insight into the industry, but there could be two explanations for the stalled revenues: (1) I understand that Q1 has historically been the weakest Q for CHKPF, so comparing it to 4Q sequentially may not give an accurate picture; and (2) prior to the 1Q earnings report, rumors on this thread and others indicated that 1Q sales were pushed into 2Q because the EPS numbers were already met. I have no idea if these rumors are accurate, but I found it interesting that some of these rumors appeared prior to the earnings report.

Of course, these explanations have a bullish bias. Perhaps the truth is precisely as you state it: revenue is stalling. Even if that were the case, wouldn't you expect the expanded agreement with MSFT re Windows NT to give CHKPF revenues a boost?
