(By every measure and survey, the PC industry is growing by leads and bounds. Unit growth is sky rocketing.......does that not translate into growth for Win 95, Office, and of the company's home and business software? Care to give us your reasoning?)

Correct!!! Thus the concern. Let me ask this question, for most PC makers IE Dell, Compaq, Packard Bell, etc, have grown dramtically over the last year growing at 30%+. In fact this last quarter was spectacular for Compaq and Dell. For all that growth, if MSFT is the end all and be all of the software industry why didn't it grow at the same rate as their minions? Doesn't that concern you, they grew at only 14%!!! Sales for Win 95, Office, etc has slowed considerably compared to their 46% last year. What new products will MSFT have for the next two quarters. The key to their success will be NT, whether you like it or not.

(So both of you atually believe that all three managers are SECRETLY BULLISH on SUNW and SECRETLY BEARISH on the fifty companies they mentioned as buys?>

Did I say that, Twister?!!! You have quoted me excellently thus far. I agreed on most of them except Microsoft. I even agree with Intel's potential for next year. Please let me refresh your memory on the article. The only person who recommended Microsoft was "Chip". His reasoning being his faith in NT and thinks that they will surprise the industry with the NT. My question is if Microsoft is so invincible why didn't the other two recommend the stock? This could be "Chip"'s way of unloading his OVERPRICED MICROSOFT stock.
