I just heard SUNW intends to compete in the desktop market. Will it include their UltraSparc chip? You know what will shut the pro Intel/NT people? SUNW should sell their workstations with UltraSparc the Enterprise 1 and 2, the basic Enterprise 1 sell for around $10,000 to $5,000. That would scare the hell out Microsoft and Intel, I here NT is inferior in all phases. Why would a company buy an obselete 32-bit system for $3,000 when they would be able to get next generation technology which will hold the market for three to five years for only a few thousand more? Mr. McNeely are you listening?
