Miles It appears this is a way for them to increase the float. Any time a dividend is paid the value of the stock is reduced by the value of the dividend. But, I must admit, I don't know how 1 for 1 stock dividends work. I would assume it is similar to a 2 for 1 split ht david does anyone have a real solid knowledge of 1:1 dividend payouts?
