I have had a limit buy order in for about $550 worth at .0045 for about a week. Yesterday (052998) at 1101hrs a market maker called "Night Securities" gave me a partial fill for about $31 worth. I think this may have been a strategy to get me to raise by price before the close of market. E-Trade only charged me once for this transaction. The rest of my trades on this stock would have been free for that day only. Of course, I was not able to get the rest filled at my price before the close. This only accounts for 7000 shares. I don't have any idea why the volume picked up.
