F1's finest Fundamentally:
Hello everyone, it was a very quiet week for the market, very few news stories and 13's for that matter, let's see if this week can get the 13's back on track, we've had as many as 41 13's in a week, this week there were 6, do you own legwork on the companies I like. This current list below is added to a cumulative list of past 13's which I feel have the strongest fundamentals and which, in time continue to show impressive reactions to news stories. Anyway:
Off of the list:
None

NEW YORK, May 28 (Reuters) - Piper Jaffray said on Thursday it started coverage on shares of Recycling Industries Inc. with a strong buy and a $10 per share target price. -- Company is rapidly growing consolidator of private companies in scrap metal recycling business, he said. -- Scrap metal recycling business well-suited to a consolidation strategy, because it is made up of about 3,000 companies with combined annual revenues of $23 billion, analyst Melissa White said in research note. -- White said company has solid growth strategy, focusing on improving operating processes partly from increased asset utilization.
On 5/27/98: It was reported that institutional holdings of RECY have increased by 5% or more. This data is generally updated in Investor monthly. Such an increase is generally considered bullish for a stock because it tends to mean greater price stability and stature.
New additions to the list:
Once Again only one new addition to the list, TMI.
TMI 7.0 Slow grower, established, widely held by funds. There are very few news bytes on this ticker, and a distinct possibility that something may be brewing, and am putting it on the list for the following reasons in expectation of that news, otherwise it's off: On 5/28/98: Trading volume for TMI was triple its 13-week average, and its price was upby at least 5%. A jump in price on big volume is generally considered a bullish indicator because it suggests that the stock is under accumulation. On 5/26/98: Trading volume for TMI was triple its 13-week average, and its price was up by at least 5%. A jump in price on big volume is generally considered a bullish indicator because it suggests that the stock is under accumulation, TMI reached it's 52 wk hi on this date. On 5/26/98: TMI crossed above its 200-day moving average. Technical analysts generally consider this to be a bullish sign because it means the stock is now rising relative to its average price of the past 40 weeks.
