Very interesting note.

Are you sure Vocalec with the I-Phone works on the priority packet system? I understood that they use a system whereby they transmit each packet twice in order to achieve some kind of audio error correction, rather than the sequenced packet scheme you mention. They are based on IRC and I thought their method was similar.
Digiphone and the Webphone on the other hand are based on direct PPP connections where each users IP address is a function of the system, I don't know if they have priority packets or not, where did you get your info?? I would like to know more and I see your point.
