Let's go to the videotape.

Gus Van Sant is the executive producer for the film, "Speedway Junkie," which starts shooting in July, starring Daryl Hannah. I'll go see that one.

Golan was asked why Van Sant, who just directed one of the biggest movies of 1997, the Oscar winning "Good Will Hunting," would want to work with MVEE.

Golan replied, "He (Van Sant) liked the director, who came from the Sundance Festival (Robert Redford). He liked the project and he liked the script, and basically he initiated it. And we are very proud to be associated with him."

The key phrase in there is, "he (Van Sant) initiated it."

Van Sant came to G & G because knows that they will support new talent.

Van Sant has directed, "Good Will Hunting" (1997), "To Die For" (1995), "Even Cowgirls Get The Blues" (1994), "My Own Private Idaho" (1991) and "Drugstore Cowboy" (1989).

Golan & Globus are starting four projects: one family, two action and a teenage film, "Speedway Junkie."

In responding to their keys for success, Golan said, "Keep the budget tight and to make a quality film, whether it is action, whether it is any other genre. And to work toward the youth audience."

Clips shown from their films in the '80s during the interview:

"Fool For Love" Three-Stars from Roger Ebert (Starring Sam Shepard, Kim Bassinger, Harry Dean Stanton & Randy Quaid) Directed by Roger Altman

"The Delta Force" Three-Stars from Ebert (Starring Chuck Norris, Lee Marvin) Directed & Co-Wrote by Golan

"Over The Top" (Starring Sylvester Stallone) Directed by Golan
