Hi Bruce, I've seen stocks with very low BETA values that also had lousy Stock Price Stability. Think of it as a counter-cyclical stock (moves the opposite way of the market) but with a large % swing. Value Line (from a year ago) shows BETA to be 1.05 on BDT but also that it has a Stock Price Stability rating of 10 (out of 100). This means that it ain't gonna bore you, but that it will pretty much move with the market.There are some other automotive suppliers that have attracted my attention in the past and with which I've made good money.
