Just FYI, the last time ADPT was this low (split-adjusted) was Jan. 31, 1995, when it touched $12.875. Revenues for the quarter ended just prior, Dec. 31 '94, were $123.4 million. Gross margin was 58% (probably about where we are now), and net income was $27.4 million, or $0.26/share.

Incidentally, someone a while back was wondering how far the string of profitable quarters extends. To date, Adaptec has posted 55 profitable quarters in a row. The quarter ended Sept. 30, '97 was the 25th quarter in a row of consecutive revenue growth (obviously, that string broke right there). All in all, pretty remarkable, but it sure doesn't seem to count for much at the moment, does it?
