Does MSFT enjoy nice profit margins vs say IOM? In the long run, I'd rather have "the" hot software product than "the" hot hardware product any day. As the technology changes, you can fix the software & recompile on the new technology without disrupting a quarter, if you're good. Adaptec can't charge a whole lot, but this could be one of those products on every PC, through a couple upgrades, if they market properly. regards, Tom
