Was out yesterday and will be most of this week: just saw this news. I think this is great because it delivers content that is difficult to get ahold of elsewhere. The music samples and CD tracks don't excite me one bit because, as a consumer, it's a trivial matter to get ahold of that stuff. But the live concerts, classic radio dramas, comedy (National Lampoon) . . . these deliver value that is far from trivial.

I'm praying for exclusive licensing deals to deliver classic sports content. Start out by offering radio re-plays of classic games -- young Vin Scully calling the Dodgers with Sandy Koufax throwing his perfect game -- and then graduate up to video delivery when their technology is ready for market. I hope Roth is on the phone with Classic Sports Network (Disney/ABC/ESPN), the major sports leagues and franchises, etc.

I would be happy if OEN's main concept was to become Nostalgia.com. Nostalgia sells! Classic content (espoecially sports) is potentially a big, big winner.

I don't think the share price will move north until the site begins to look professional. It still looks like it's in beta. Let's hope they move quickly to incorporate the features they've announced so the site starts to show some real promise.
