Pat, I was unable to log on to my ISP yesterday shortly after my last post. I kept getting busy signals and also kept getting a message -- "all circuits are busy now". Not sure whether the problem was with my ISP or the local carrier.

I got a buy signal on my system yesterday and went long the Sep futures at 1099. I did post earlier yesterday, that my system was within reach of triggering a buy signal. I closed out the short June position -- for a profit of about 24 points.

I will stay with this long signal until I get a signal to reverse or go short -- and at that point I will go FLAT, on this and other markets that I trade--will go flat on all markets late next week irrespective of the status of signals. I will be moving towards the end of next week and given that my access to down-load data to generate signals will be tenuous, I shall not position or day trade any markets until I am settled in my new location--which may not be until about mid-July. I shall also be taking a respite from SI for the same reason--commencing some time next week.

The timing is unfortunate in that the currency markets are presenting outstanding opportunities for trading right now. A short position in the yen is, IMO, a no-brainer, given that intervention does not usually turn a trend around until the fundamentals support it. I would have gone short the yen, at the point when the next signal is generated. Anyway, there should be other opportunities down the line.

Closed out my day trade yesterday for a loss of 2 points.

Not sure that I will be logged on much today.
