Dr. Z ... Yes, I heard about Oracle on CNN this morning.

BTW, I couldn't get through on your link so I went direct to Oracle's sight and the report is here:
corporate-ir.net

In it they claim they are #2 applications company in world. I don't know who is an authority on this, but other sources have indicated that PSFT passed Oracle last year. There must be some other app's Oracle is adding in that don't compare with SAP, PSFT, etc.

It will be interesting to see what effect ORCL has on market today. ORCL is up overseas and after-hours trading. When ORCL got knocked down, I figured they would recover if nothing else but for Oracle 8 database - after all they are #1 there. New release of app's last month may help them this year too.
