I had the same problem with Ameritrade. I sold 25K ICVI the day before the name change and bought it back the day after the name change as MTEI ... the net effect was that they listed a long on one, a short on the other, and put a $150,000 maintenance call. No one could figure where that number came from! I could not trade one afternoon 5 min before the bell because the guy they needed to get to was out and no one else was available. Cost me 2K in the anticipated swing which did happen. Really pissed me off at them ... but they did finally straighten it out..... :-(
