Hi Bruce, I have never understood the full nature of the summer seasonality in the stock market. It would appear that summer vacations and long weekends for national holidays play a part. I guess some folks just don't want to come back from a holiday to some bad news about their investments.

AIM's perverse nature of liking bad news almost as much as good changes that just a bit!! I always want to hear great news about the companies in which I invest but the best news is always that one of my AIM gtc orders has filled!

I'll have to check, but that -7 reading on the IW Oscillator is one of the biggest moves (up or down) that I can remember. The market seems to move so quickly from happy to spooky and back again, I wonder if any measure will be able to keep up much longer. I am pleased with the IW's performance during the last year. It's given us plenty of time to make adjustments before the market has stumbled. It's also given us pretty good signals regarding the next market up-turns. The Low Risk call by the Best/Worst Index last winter was right on the mark.

Even if the Idiot Wave isn't perfect, it has worked well as an AIM barometer. I still need to get to the library and improve the Zeal component of the IW. Time seems to have a highly evaporative nature!

Best regards, Tom
