doc, I am not a buyer at this level, and I am still hoping to somehow, someway buy back the shares I sold at 40 and change on the way up. I had a few chances, but missed, holding out for a little more of a drop. I still have 400, and will have to be content with these.
I gotta think we will get at least one significant pull back before earnings. Maybe to 45, but more likely to 47'ish. I don't think it can reach $55 before earnings, or even after (this quarter), unless earnings exceed by a significant margin (>.02). Of course, a takeover could come at higher than $55, but I think $70 is too high. A takeover right now, might be at $55-58, maybe $60. That doesn't seem like much of a premium, but people have to understand, premium is already built into the price. Without the merger mania, I think the stock trades in the 42-45 range today, maybe even a tad lower.
BTW, see Message 4947980 for my view on one merger that would induce me keep my shares in the new company. This is one I would love to see, and I think WallStreet would too.
Good luck with your decision.
