hey bruce---too much going on to spend much, if any, time on-line lately, just an ocassional "lurk" now and then. lots of time being devoted to getting new venture going. i'll share more info on this soon. printed up july's edition of the argus report last night. they have devoted a section to the "beaten down" small tech sector and have produced a list of candidates for recovery based upon value and performance. their criteria included p/e's below 23x, 3 year eps growth greater than 15%, price to cash flow of at less than 20x and a price to sales multiple of less than 3x. candidates are: ADBE-AT-ALRN-ANAD-ANDW-AVX-BELF-BMRQ-DS-EFII-ECIN-HELX-INVX-IMSC-ICMT-SCX-METHA-MLIN-PTNX-REAL-SBEI-SUPX-TXN-VLSI-WTT. didn't list the beta's but i imagine most are "AIMable." i'm still sniffing at BDT but haven't moved yet. i also spent some time last weekend researching CHRX, but didn't pull the trigger. last nights search yielded TSIX which is also looking tempting. but, until i know how much the new venture is going to cost, i'm batteling to stay as liquid as i can. another week or so of pro-formas and we'll see. i was suppose to head down to mexico (monterray) on monday to check on another acquistion but that too will have to wait. weather has been great, humidity hasn't kicked in yet, but i fear it is only a matter of time. s.k.
