I respect your intercultural knowledge, but I disagree with your premise that the "Mrs President" remark was just 'a Chinese formality.' I, too, have spent a fair amount of time in the orient (Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Korea) and have an inkling of their thought processes. The best insult is one which can be explained away as a mistake. And, that is what the ChiComs are doing, repeatedly, to our president. I don't care what Americans do to Slick, but I take great umbrage at a potential enemy insulting the representitive of our country.
