Actually, I'm not all that fond of Clinton myself -- he's too consummate a politician for me, stands for no particular ideals other than keeping the system plodding forward, far too willing to compromise -- but compared to you bozos who so pathologically think he's a Marxist economist and the devil incarnate, Clinton's veritably Solomonic, the Oliver Wendell Holmes of our day. You guys are so out of the loop, the things you concern yourselves with render uncredible whatever intelligence you might actually have. Clinton is going to finish his term, and the world isn't going to come to an end, nor is America. Monica Lewinsky and Paula Jones and Linda Tripp and probably even Rush "Buy-My-Book" Limbaugh are only barely going to make the history books. Instead of having a heart attack over every detail of Clinton's sex life, much less the efficient (and fairly conservative) job he's doing as president, why aren't you guys organizing and campaigning in legitimate forums (of which SI isn't actually one) for the presidential candidate of your choice in the year 2000. Really, your irrational hatred for our president only makes you sound silly, and it removes you from any serious political dialogue and consideration.

I have no intention of debating you guys. I must confess that I only came over here (by Darrel's invitation) to bait you and I'm sorry if raised anyone's cholesterol. I log onto SI to read about companies and investment strategy, etc, and that's what I'm going to get back to. I appreciate you all keeping this discussion over here, and not on any of the company threads I follow. Good luck in your investments, and, hey . . . Quayle in 2000.
