Call like I see them Richard.

Usually after a stock has gone down alot and then goes into a basing period AND volume dies off, it will get a bounce or two upwards. We had one bounce in April. Now the indicators are suggesting another bounce up is possible.

You are right about Bolinger bands. They are not much use here. The indicators that alerted me are MACD and Williams R%. The MACD looks good. It has come off about 3 "down pulses" and is heading up towards the 0 line for the first time since April. Williams R% (which is like RSI, yet more sensitive) is starting to show peaks into the strong zone and the down impulses are not hitting the bottom anymore. This means that the up price movements are gathering strength and the down price movements are losing strength.

IF CHIP is going to move up... it will be soon. It is setting up. Typically the way this unfolds is the MM's move the price down for "a dip" right before the fast move up.

The reason I posted is these moves in CHIP in the past have been VERY short-lived, often not making it till closing time. You need to have a bid in beforehand to capture the move.

This is not a buy recommendation, but perhaps a bailout opportunity for disgruntled investors... like I said before.
