This corporation is the latest publicly traded company in the 'desert sand' group. The stock trades on the Nasdaq BB (CHIP). Presently trading around the 80 cent area. They have 2 separate claims, one near Tecopa, CA and the other is near Barstow, CA. The mining entity is a wholly owned subsidiary called Griffin Gold Group, and will be spun off into a separate, publicly traded entity in the future. CHIP could be the first of this group to be in metal production, they are co-owner of a small pilot plant that is nearing completion in the Amargosa desert. Once the bugs are worked out, the company will be opening a much larger plant on their property. They have the rights to proven, patented technology that was developed by a well known figure in this end of the industry. I've just had a conference call with the principals and am really impressed with their planning process and the speed with which they are making progress. I've made it a point to keep track of these 'weird mineralization' stocks for the last 2 years and this one certainly has an excellent shot at being the first one in full scale production. I'll keep posting on this company as the story unfolds. C L | ||||||||||||||
