lazzare, Remember, Colson served time in prison for possessing one little file. I wonder how Carville will look in prison gray?

The White House Admits Pulling the Tripp File

The Washington Weekly
July 5th , 1998 Marvin Lee

Terry Good , head of the White House Office of Records Management , last week admitted that he had been ordered by the Office of White House Counsel to pull the file of Linda Tripp , after the Lewinsky story broke in January .

The admission was made under oath during a deposition by Larry Klayman ( of Judicial Watch ) . " There appears to be a concerted effort by the Clinton administration to use government files to harm and intimidate perceived grand jury witnesses , " stated Larry Klayman . The files of Kathleen Willey and Monica Lewinsky were pulled , as well .

Linda Tripp did testify before the grand jury last week , but not before her name had been smeared in the New Yorker magazine . The author of that article , Jane Mayer , claims she received the information from Tripp ' s personnel records at the Pentagon . But , as Tony Snow has pointed out , that the language Mayer quoted in her article does not square with the language appearing on the Pentagon forms . This suggests that the White House could be the source of the information instead , a speculation now further substantiated by the testimony of Terry Good .

A subpoena by Judicial Watch has revealed that James Carville receives documents from the White House , as well as from the DNC . One email from Eric Berman , at the DNC , to Glen Weiner , then working for Carville , conveys the product of a detailed investigation into the background of House Judicial Committee Chairman Henry Hyde. Henry Hyde will be chairing any impeachment proceeding against the President , and it seems that the White House and the DNC are preparing for that possibility , by collecting dirt on Hyde . It will Carville ' s job to throw it on the fan when he receives the word " go " from the White House .
