Hi all,

I finally broke down and got on SI, and just wanted to get in here. I started following this thread in 4/97 when I shorted at 36. Unfortunately, and probably much to your delight, I got slaughtered, and got saved on Crash Day, getting out at 56.

I bought in this April at 51 hoping to make my money back from the stupid short, and have been disappointed, but I feel that 60-65 is about right at the end of the year, so I am holding out.

I see PSFT as a strong company, with a strong balance sheet, and a valid accounting system. I also believe that they can manipulate their numbers with their deferred revenues.

Anyone else think they may have "only" beat the number by one penny to give themselves, and others, a chance to get back in? For some reason, I fail to believe that this is the end of the ride. Anyone else think they will pummel the estimate on the 22nd and ride the stock back up into the 50's?

Any thoughts on this, instead of the GC banter would be sweet.

Take care.
