Much easier to sue Andersen since other companies have gotten the software implemented so harder to blame the software vendor in this case. Especially when Andersen was running the implementation and the customer probably dealt only w/Andersen.

I agree they'd probably rather have senior people in there billing at a higher rate. And if they had senior people on the bench that's where they'd be. But probably don't have enough senior people to go around.

These consulting companies do this all the time. Worst is when they present the prospect with "typical" resumes of people who will work on the project and then send in people who don't come close to the experience level of these "typical" resumes.
